About iCan

        Hi and welcome.
        We would like to share the inspiration behind iCan.
        The name "iCan" was inspired by one of my patients Mr. Meeks whom I had the privilege of treating, about 16 years ago.
        Mr. Meeks was a 60+ year old with complete C5 quadriplegia. Despite all of his medical issues and barriers he had to overcome, he had an incredible positive attitude.
        His most frequent words were "if you teach me.....iCan" .
        The drive and the determination he owned was contagious. This man challenged me to go the extra mile every time.
        I learned something from Mr. Meeks which changed the way I looked at my profession.
        He made me learn to listen to my patients more.... and think iCan !! Use my skills as a Therapist to make a difference.
